Today I’m sharing a few of my favorite DIY football party decorations.
With the Super Bowl quickly approaching, I’ve started planning how I’ll be decorating my home for the big game. We won’t be having a party this year, but we will be enjoying a nice relaxing day at home as a family with yummy food and some fun football decor to get us in the spirit!
I’ve rounded up my top five DIY football decoration ideas. Each is cost effective, relatively easy to assemble and will be sure to score you some extra points with your guests!
Football Penalty Flag Napkins
First up is this penalty flag sign from Beth Kruse’s Etsy Shop. She offers this sign for instant download, and you can print it on card stock or label paper.
I’ll be printing this sign on card stock and attaching it to a white bucket I have on hand. I picked up yellow napkins (like those shown in the picture) from the Dollar Tree. Now I have perfectly themed napkins for the big game this weekend!
Football Treat Bags
Second on the list are these adorable football treat bags by Hostess with the Mostest. I love these bags because they meet my “Big Three” requirement for party decor… easy, inexpensive, and themed!
Look for these small brown paper bags in the wrapping paper and gift bag section of at Michael’s. The sports tape can be found pretty much anywhere, but I found mine in the first aid section of our local grocery store.
My favorite thing about these is how kid-friendly they are. They keep the finger foods tidy and are a perfect way to set the kids up with their own snacks.
Football Drink Tub
Next up is this fun football drink tub found over at evite. They use artificial turf and white duct tape for the field and PVC pipe for the goal post. I think the bucket alone would be perfect for a tailgate or even sports-themed birthday party decor.
This football DIY is a little bit more involved, but it’s a great weekend project that you can use all season long!
Football Banner
Now, it wouldn’t be a Sprinkled with Paper DIY football round-up without a football banner!
This FREE printable banner by Paper Tail Designs is perfect because you can use it no matter which team you are rooting for! Hang it on a tailgate, across a picnic table or behind a food or dessert table. You can’t go wrong with this banner!
Football Mason Jars
Lastly are these adorable football mason jars by Drop Cloth Designs.
These are perfect for utensils, straws, pennant flags, centerpieces, and more!
I’m definitely planning on making several of these fun DIY football decorations. I’ll be sharing our Super Bowl decor and food over in Instagram stories this Sunday!
