Today I’m sharing my custom DIY Valentine’s Day vintage truck sign!
Creating this Valentine’s Day vintage truck sign was so easy, and the whole project cost under $10!

I wanted to go for a vintage, farmhouse feel this Valentine’s Day. I took the pumpkin patch sign I made this past fall, and added a Valentine’s Day twist. I love how it turned out!
If you would like to create your own Valentine’s Day vintage truck sign, you can open the Cricut Design Space file below.
Gather the following supplies to make your Valentine’s Day vintage truck Sign:

Free Cricut File “Valentine’s Day Vintage Truck” (open below) Cricut Mat| Vinyl Sheet |Acrylic Paint | Sponge Paint Brushes| Wooden Sign (from Hobby Lobby) | Transfer Tape

INSTRUCTIONS
STEP 1: Download the Vintage Valentine’s Day Truck SVG files found below. Unzip the file and upload SVG to Cricut Design Space.
STEP 2: Once opened in Cricut Design Space, measure the item you’ll be placing your design on, and adjust the size of the design accordingly.
STEP 3: Reverse weed the cut vinyl design to create a stencil. Reverse weeding is removing all of the vinyl pieces that you would like to be painted, and leaving the pieces that you would not like to be painted, which creates a stencil.
STEP 4: Apply transfer tape to your cut vinyl stencil, and and peel back the vinyl backing paper. Your vinyl will now be attached to the transfer tape.
STEP 5: Position the transfer tape onto your project’s surface, smooth out any folds or bubbles, and carefully peel back transfer tape. This will temporarily attach your vinyl stencil to your project for painting.
STEP 6: Paint your design onto your project with the colors of your choice using acrylic paint.
STEP 7: While the paint is still tacky, remove your vinyl stencil and allow your project to dry. Removing your stencil while the acrylic paint is still wet will prevent the paint from peeling off the surface.
BOUNUS STEP: Add decorative ribbon to finish off your design.

Please let me know if you have any issues.
I tried using the link you provided. It takes me to cricut. I’m asked to download a plugin. I do that and then it says “Project Not Available Project saved as private.”
Do I need to try it with a different browser?
Thanks,
