I love creating yummy themed treats but keeping them simple and realistic.
With the 4th of July just around the corner, I decided to compile a list of my top five easy kid-friendly 4th of July Treats.
All of these treats are simple to make, but my favorite part is the presentation. Each really gives that WOW factor we all love!
My top 5
First on my list are these adorable brownie & fruit kebabs by Mel’s Kitchen Cafe.
These kebabs will be a fun treat that everyone will enjoy! Plus, they are easy enough for the kids to help assemble.
Mel provides a yummy brownie recipe on her website. If you are looking to make these easy treats even easier, or if you’re in a time crunch, I recommend buying brownie bites from your local grocery store. They would be the perfect size!
Second on the list is another fun kebab, courtesy of Family Circle.
These marshmallow and fruit kebabs are a simpler version of the brownie and fruit kebabs, but are equally as adorable!
This is for sure a treat the kids can assemble on their own.
Next up is a simple white-on-white cupcake from Buttercream Blondie.
In my opinion, you can’t go wrong with a white cake cupcake and white buttercream frosting any time of the year. Add to it tart red raspberries and plump blue blueberries, and it turns into a perfect 4th of July dessert!
Another fun one for the kids is the classic Chex Mix treat, but with a 4th of July twist from Betty Crocker.
I love the combination of sweet and salty with any Chex Mix recipe. This version calls for the addition of sunflower seeds, giving it a little extra bit of salty to take it to the next level!
I think this next one from Family Fresh Meals has to be my favorite of them all! This 4th of July treat couldn’t get any easier, because there is zero baking involved.
Simply arrange fruit and yogurt-covered pretzels into an American flag. Yummy, healthy and darling!
I’m definitely planning to make the brownie & fruit kebabs and fruit and pretzel American flag tray with the kids for the 4th of July party we’ll be heading to. I’m sure they’ll be a huge hit!
Happy 4th of July!!
