This post shows you a really easily gratitude jar craft. Plus, there’s a FREE instant-download printable included!
As much as I LOVE Christmas, I feel like we are all so quick to bypass Thanksgiving.
Don’t get me wrong, there will be Christmas movies, music and Eggnog during the month of November. But, I also think it’s important to remember the meaning of Thanksgiving; to give thanks and practice gratitude for what we have, and for those around us.
This November, I want to remind my children to be grateful for what they have instead of thinking about what can be added to their Christmas list.
Today, I’m going to make an easy gratitude jar to be used during the month of November.
The idea is, when you think of something you are grateful for, write it down on one of the tags and place it in the jar. You can put your name on it or keep it anonymous. On Thanksgiving, pass the jar around the table and take turns reading the tags. This is a sure way to leave everyone at the table feeling full of gratitude this Thanksgiving.
