I designed these little fish bowl favors for a playdate Madison and I attended when she was just an infant. It’s been 7 years since that playdate, (wow, does time fly!) and I still find myself using my original design a couple times every year. I just love them so much!
They work for so many occasions, I simply change the wording to fit the event. We’ve used them for back to school, Valentine’s Day, last day of school, and snack day at preschool. They were even featured by Rachel Hollis on her 50 Back to School Ideas (scroll down to the Party Favors/Classmate Gifts section).

This year, we are making back to school fish bowl favors for Jack to hand out on his first day of T-K (transitional kindergarten). Eek! I can’t believe I’m typing those words – they grow up too fast!
If you would like to make your own back to school fish bowl favors, here’s what you’ll need.

Supplies
Fish Bowl Printable | Scissors | Shaped Cello Bags | Gold Fish Crackers | Swedish Fish | Teal Tulle
STEP 1: Download my fish bowl favor printable file, which is available for purchase in my new printable shop. I’m offering a coupon code for 75% off to all my readers. Enter your name and email below, and we will send you the 75% off coupon code.
STEP 2: Print the PDF on white cardstock, and cut the fish bowls out along the outer blue line.
STEP 3: Place fish bowl favors in shaped treat bags. I love the shaped bags because the printable fish bowls fit inside perfectly! Plus, they remind me of the bags that the goldfish come in from the pet store.
STEP 4: Fill shaped treat bags with your fishy treats. We use Goldfish crackers and Swedish fish. I fill the bags primarily with Goldfish and include 1-2 Swedish fish in there as well.
STEP 5: Tie filled treat bags with tulle, ribbon or twine. I like to use teal tulle because it matches the outlined fish bowls, and it’s easy for kids to untie by themselves.
