(Pokemon Cake Topper) Level of Difficulty:
Today we’re making the highly requested Pokemon inspired cake topper using Cricut. I originally designed this cake topper for my son, Jack’s 7th birthday. When I first started the party planning process for Jack’s birthday, I planned on serving cake but since we ended up having the party at the park, cupcakes seemed like the best dessert choice. At this point I has already created the cake topper and since I didn’t want it to go to waste, I repurposed it as a centerpiece decoration and I couldn’t be happier with how it turned out.
To create the centerpiece, I just added a small piece of styrofoam to the bottom of a mini bucket, stuck the Pokemon cake topper and a mini mylar balloon (found at the grocery store) into the styrofoam and finished it off with a few pieces of tissue.
Below you will find the supplies need, where and how to download the free Pokemon font and a video showing how to create your design in Cricut Design Space and how to assemble your own cake topper or centerpiece.
