Halloween is only weeks away, which in our house means the season of yummy treats! Creating yummy themed goodies is one of my favorite things about Halloween, but my most favorite is creating easy and practical treats that my kids can either help with or create entirely on their own.
Watching my kids use their creativity in the kitchen is such a pleasure to watch. I’ve also found that baking is the perfect activity for tween girls and their friends. My daughter absolutely loves having her girl friends over to bake
My Top 5 Kid Friendly Halloween Treats
Mini Ghost Donuts
First on my list are these easy and fun mini powders sugar ghost donuts by Jessica at Fantabulosity.
These mini ghost donuts will be a fun treat that everyone will enjoy! Plus, they are easy enough for the little kids to help assemble.
Monster Pudding Cookies
Second on the list are the monster pudding cookies , courtesy of Dorothy at Crazy for Crust.
I love the chewiness of a pudding cookie and I’m sure you can guess I also love a themed cookie!
Visit Crazy for Crust for Dorothy’s other holiday pudding cookie recipes. I will definitely be making her Christmas ones this year!
Halloween Bark
Next up is this Halloween bark by Princess Pinky Girl.
I don’t think anyone can turn down a tasty treat like chocolate filled with pretzels and m&m’s and definitely not when it’s this festive and colorful. My kids will love making this, I think the hardest part will be waiting for the chocolate to harden before eating it!
Halloween Popcorn Balls
Next we have Halloween popcorn balls by Confessions of parenting.
I love this fun twist on a nostalgic Halloween treat! Growing up, I remember popcorn balls were always a fun treat at the Fall festivals. This is a must for me and my kiddos this year!
Mummy Chocolate Pretzels
Lastly are these yummy mummy pretzel rods by Let’s Dish.
Not only are these so easy for kids to make but who doesn’t love a chocolate covered pretzel!
I’m definitely planning to make all of these fun and easy treats with my kids this Halloween season! I have a feeling the mini monster donuts will be my son’s favorite and the chocolate bark will be my daughters. As for me, I’m very much looking forward to the pudding monster cookies. We just might have to make those first!
