This five little pumpkin printable might look familiar to some of you, if you were around last year you might remember when I shared it along with a Lego activity I did with Madison Kindergarten class.
Well as much as I love a good Lego activity, I’m fully aware it can get expensive for a whole class. So, this year I came up with a budget friendly idea that is just as much fun and so much sweeter.
This year instead of using Legos to create our fence and pumpkins, we’ll be using pretzel sticks and candy corn pumpkins. For a class of 20 you can create this fun and yummy treat for just about $10.
SUPPLIES & INSTRUCTIONS
STEP 1: Download my five little pumpkins printable file, which can be found below.
STEP 2: Print the PDF on white cardstock, and cut the favor tags out along the outer black line.
STEP 3: Place five little pumpkins favor tags in shaped treat bags. I love the shaped bags because your favors tags and treats don’t get smushed after tying with ribbon.
STEP 4: Fill shaped treat bags with your pretzels and five candy corn pumpkins.
STEP 5: Tie filled treat bags with tulle, ribbon or twine. Tie into a bow instead of a knot so kids can easily open without help.
ASSEMBLY
Assembly is simply allowing the children to use their imaginations. They can pretend the pretzel sticks are wooden logs and they can build their fences as long and wide as their pretzels will allow.
