Back to School Giveaway

Welcome to back to school week!

I wanted to create a series where we could prepare for back to school together, so this week all of my posts will be focusing on getting ready to go back to school!

I think of back to school time as a fresh start, and I LOVE to start the school year off right. Not only with new school supplies, but also fresh haircuts, dentist visits, a sparkly clean car, clean house, and a fully stocked kitchen.

While the first week of school can be exciting, it’s also an adjustment for everyone. I find that the more I can prepare (in all aspects of my life), the smoother and more enjoyable the first week of school is.

Let’s get started!!!

The first thing I do to prepare is create a back to school checklist. Included on the list are spots for

• Shopping: clothes, shoes, backpack, lunchbox, and school supplies;
• Appointments: hair, dentist, doctor;
• Organization: lunch supplies, homework station;
• Teacher gifts: gift, questionnaire;
• Cleaning: house and car; and
• First-day must-haves: first day of school sign, forms and medical info for office, reading logs etc.

I also leave a few spots open for anything that might pop up (something always does!).
